Please join the Woman's Club of Wilmette either in-person or via Zoom on Wednesday\, May 26\, 2021\, at 12 noon\, as we welcome Dr. Elizabeth Son to discuss her award-winning book Embodied Reckonings: Comfort Women\, Performance\, and Transpacific Redress.\n\n \n\n\n\nEmbodied Reckonings examines the political and cultural aspects of contemporary performances (protests\, tribunals\, theatre\, and memorial building) in South Korea\, Japan\, and the United States that have grappled with the history of Japanese military sexual slavery.
