Business Partners for a Greener Wilmette Kickoff Reception
What’s your business doing to reduce its carbon footprint? Tell us and we’ll tell everyone in the Village.
Businesses in Wilmette are doing cool things every day – cool things that are good for the environment. Business Partners for a Greener Wilmette is a campaign to promote Wilmette businesses and not-for profits that engage in significant environmentally responsible practices. Go Green Wilmette is sponsoring the campaign because we view such initiatives as a benefit to the entire community. We want to let the whole community know. We’ll list qualifying businesses on our website, in our newsletters and on our Facebook page. We’ll also give you a certificate and a medallion for your web page. The three most important steps businesses can take are spotlighted in our campaign: Buying electricity from Sources that Support Green Energy, Recycling Business Trash, and Reducing Consumption of Energy and Resources.
We’re kicking off our campaign with a free reception and award presentations at Mallinckrodt.
To find out more about the campaign and how your business can qualify, see www.gogreenwilmette.org or enquire at info@gogreenwilmette.org.
Event will take place rain or shine - find us inside in case of inclement weather.
