Distinguished Citizen Award presented by the District 39 Educational Foundation
The District 39 Educational Foundation will bestow the 2010 Distinguished Citizen Award to Wilmette resident and District 39 friend, Walter Reed. Walter's endeavors during his life, including his service during World War II, his advocacy on behalf of children with special needs, and his ongoing service work with Rotary, International exemplify the meaning of the word "citizen."
