Going Green Matters Environmental Fair

Going Green Matters is the annual environmental fair in Wilmette reaching more than 1,000 participants. People interested in living more sustainably have a chance to learn more about topics such as saving energy at home, transportation choices, green landscaping, growing your own food, organic food and farming, connecting to nature, green home design and products, and more.

In 2014, more than 1,100 residents, neighbors, elected officials, water experts, exhibitors and volunteers! The cold did not stop the exploration, education, connections and brainstorming about how to live more sustainably. A working solar system, the latest hybrid and electric cars, cooking demonstrations, water experts and the ever popular interactive eco-zone inspired all participants.
