Horror Films and Spirituality: A Symposium with Film Director Spencer Parsons
Get in the Halloween spirit and join us for a conversation with film director Spencer Parsons about the connections between horror films and spirituality.
Spencer Parsons’s latest feature film, Saturday Morning Massacre, premiered at the 2012 Los Angeles Film Festival, and was awarded Best Feature at the 2012 Minneapolis Underground Film Festival. His previous feature, I’ll Come Running (2008) played numerous festivals, has screened on the Sundance Channel and is distributed by IFC.
The event is a part of the Community Church of Wilmette’s BIOS: Arts and Community series. This series of cultural events includes conversations with artists, musical performances, film screenings, and educational opportunities designed to examine the fullness of the human experience.
