Join us at the Wilmette Historical Museum, 609 Ridge Road in Wilmette, on Sunday, January 31st from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. for a fascinating, free talk by pop culture historian Jim Engel of Chicago's Museum of Broadcast Communications. Jim’s illustrated lecture will highlight Chicago’s golden age of children’s television and the popular “Garfield Goose and Friends” show hosted by Wilmette resident Frazier Thomas. The lecture will be preceded by a brief annual meeting of the Wilmette Historical Society and light refreshments will be served.
