Next Season: Plant a Butterfly Garden
If you have not yet viewed Wilmette Public Library’s new Butterfly Garden, Saturday September 28th would be a great day to do it. The designer of the garden, Eran Rhodes of Sacred Earth Edible Landscaping, will be on hand to explain how to install your own butterfly garden. Rhodes, who is still in his 20’s, developed a passion for gardening as a teenager and installed his first edible garden at the age of 16 years. His presentation: “Next Season: Plant a Butterfly Garden”, will cover appropriate plants, tips for prepping the soil and why it's important to attract butterflies.
