The Impact of the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition on Architecture and Landscape Design
Architectural historian and historic preservationist Timothy Wittman offers insight into the multiple ways that the World’s Columbian Exposition influenced the future of architecture, urban planning, and landscape design throughout the U.S. and the world. This event is free and open to the public and part of the Wilmette Public Library’s One Book, Everybody Reads series, which is featuring Rosellen Brown’s historical novel, The Lake on Fire, this spring.
