North Shore Theater of Wilmette presents Hairspray
You'll be out of your seat and dancing in the aisles when you?re transported to a time when the hair-dos were as big as the hearts of the girls who wore them! Welcome to the ?60s?and Hairspray! This tune-filled romp (with a little social message thrown in) filled the seats on Broadway for over 2,500 performances?and the North Shore Theater of Wilmette is proud to be one of the first in the area to be able to present this amazing show. Turn back the clock as Tracy Turnblad overcomes all sorts of obstacles to become one of the primo dancers on the Corny Collins Show, literally dragging her mother Edna and the rest of Baltimore into the Swingin? Sixties. It?s a bouffant of a musical from beginning to end?we're not teasing!
